I hope I don't tick anyone off too badly with this, but I've just got to vent about peanut brittle. Particularly around this time of year, peanut brittle becomes quite the thorn in my side. You see, the old soul that I am, my teeth aren't what they used to be. Because of this, it can be rather difficult to eat even the smallest piece of peanut brittle. Don't let the name fool you, it's not usually very brittle at all!
You might be saying to yourself, "Gretta, why don't you just pass on it, then?" Easy for you to say. Amidst all my old teeth is one really old and really demanding sweet tooth. So, now you understand my dilemma.
If anyone has any advice or suggestions on how I might solve this catch-22 that is plaguing me currently, I'm all ears. You take care, now. See you next time.
